Sifang Street (Square Street) / 四方街
The historic heart and central square of Lijiang Old Town, shaped like a magistrate's seal. Sifang Street was the bustling commercial hub and starting point of the Ancient Tea Horse Road during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The square stretches out four main streets in each direction and is surrounded by traditional shops, restaurants, and bars. Every evening, locals and tourists gather for the famous bonfire dance performance.
