• One of the most photogenic spots in all of Yunnan. The impossibly blue water against white snow mountains creates postcard-perfect scenery. The wooden walkways make it accessible for all fitness levels.

Late morning to early afternoon for optimal sunlight on the water. Visit before or after your cable car ride.

Tips

• Included in Jade Dragon Snow Mountain park entrance ticket (no extra fee). Electric shuttle available (CNY 50) but walking is recommended for better views. The opposite side of the lakes usually has fewer people. Best light for photography is late morning.
