Tips

• Free to visit. For the best panoramic view, climb the hill at the entrance of Shigu Village (local residents may charge CNY 5-10 to pass through their property). Take Bus 206 from Lijiang (CNY 10, 1 hour) or minibus from Jin Kai Square/Zhongyi Market (CNY 15). Combine with a visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge on the same day. Shigu Town hosts local markets on the 3rd, 6th, and 9th of each month.
