Chongqing is one of China's four direct-administered municipalities and an important economic center in western China. Located where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet, the city is famous for its beautiful scenery, unique transportation system, and exciting travel experiences. Known as the "Mountain City" or "8D City," Chongqing is a great destination for both children and adults. It is also suitable for elderly travelers, although its steep roads and many stairs require some extra planning and preparation.
Highlights:
- Hongya Cave (洪崖洞) – A popular riverside attraction with traditional Chinese-style buildings. It is especially beautiful at night when all the lights are on.
- Liziba Monorail Station (李子坝轻轨站) – A famous place where the monorail passes through the middle of a residential building. It's one of Chongqing's most unique attractions.
- Ciqikou Ancient Town (磁器口古镇) – An old town with traditional streets, local shops, tea houses, and delicious Chongqing snacks.
- Chongqing Hotpot (重庆火锅) – Chongqing's most famous food. It is known for its spicy and flavorful soup, where you can cook meat, seafood, vegetables, and noodles at your table.

Spring (march to may) and autumn (September to November) with temperature 15C - 25C for both season.

- Child, because Chongqing have some kids friendly attraction like zoo and museum
- Adult, but not elderly because Chongqing at some place have many steep road and many stairs (need extra planning and preparation)
