Terracotta Army/Terracotta Warriors / 秦始皇帝陵博物院
The museum preserves the world-famous Terracotta Army, discovered in 1974 and built over 2,200 years ago to guard the tomb of China's First Emperor, Qin Shi Huang. More than 8,000 life-sized warriors, horses, and chariots have been discovered, with each warrior featuring unique facial characteristics. The site is recognized as one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century.
