Huaqing Palace / 华清宫
Huaqing Palace is a renowned royal palace and hot spring resort located at the foot of Lishan Mountain in Lintong District. With a history spanning over 3,000 years, it flourished during the Tang Dynasty as the favorite retreat of Emperor Xuanzong and his beloved consort Yang Guifei. The site features imperial palaces, ancient hot spring pools, gardens, temples, and relics related to the Xi'an Incident (1936).
