Sajinqiao / 洒金桥

Sajinqiao is one of Xi'an's oldest and most authentic food streets, located northwest of the Bell Tower in the former Muslim Quarter. Compared with the more famous Muslim Street, Sajinqiao is less commercialized and is highly regarded by local residents for its traditional Shaanxi snacks, Hui Muslim cuisine, and everyday neighborhood atmosphere. The street's name dates back to the Tang Dynasty and is associated with the legend of "scattering gold" (洒金).
