Nixi Black Pottery Village / 尼西土陶村
A traditional Tibetan village with over 2,000 years of black pottery craftsmanship history. Listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008. The pottery is black as lacquer, bright as a mirror, and hard as porcelain. Master craftsmen like Sonam Rinzin (national-level inheritor) still practice traditional hand-building techniques.
