Why Visit

  • One of the most ecologically significant high-altitude lakes in China. The 'azalea drunken fish' phenomenon is a unique natural wonder. Even with limited access, the 1km walk to the lake tail offers a glimpse of untouched wilderness.

Tips

  • Core lake area is CLOSED for ecological restoration. Visitors can walk 1km wooden plank to the lake tail viewpoint (round trip 2km, ~50 minutes). Respect all barriers—this is a strictly protected wetland. Same Pudacuo ticket applies. No boat access currently available.
