Haba Snow Mountain / 哈巴雪山
An entry-level snow mountain for climbers at 5,396m elevation. Features permanent snow cover, glaciers, and glacial lakes. The climbing route is relatively straightforward with no major ice crevasses, making it ideal for first-time high-altitude mountaineers. Haba Village at the base is a charming Naxi settlement.

- Summit attempt requires professional guide and proper gear (can be rented in Haba Village). Acclimatize for 1-2 days in Haba Village (2,700m). From Lijiang: bus to Haba Village departs 09:00 daily (CNY 40, 5 hours). No official entrance fee for the mountain, but climbing permits and guide fees apply (CNY 1,500-3,000 for full package).
