Xuanwu Lake / 玄武湖景区
Xuanwu Lake Park is Nanjing's largest urban lake and one of the city's most iconic scenic areas, with a history of over 1,500 years. Covering approximately 502 hectares, the lake is connected by bridges to five picturesque islets (Huanzhou, Yingzhou, Liangzhou, Cuizhou, and Lingzhou). Visitors can enjoy lakeside promenades, classical gardens, lotus ponds, cherry blossoms, cycling paths, boating, and panoramic views of the Ming City Wall and Purple Mountain.
