Confucius Temple Scenic Area /Fuzimiao / 夫子庙景区
Originally established during the Song Dynasty (1034), the Confucius Temple Scenic Area is one of China's most famous cultural landmarks dedicated to Confucius. Today, it is a lively complex combining restored temple buildings, traditional Jiangnan architecture, souvenir shops, local food streets, folk performances, and direct access to the Qinhuai River.

Note
Most shops open from 09:00 until 22:00. Some attractions inside the complex (such as exhibition halls or museums) require paid tickets. It is one place with Qinhuai River. Qinhuai River cruise tickets should be booked in advance during weekends and public holidays. Ticket price of boat cruise: 60 元.
