Erhai Lake / 洱海
A vast and scenic freshwater lake (252 sq km) on the southern shore of which Dali sits. Known as the 'Highland Pearl' of Yunnan, it resembles a crescent moon nestled at the foot of Cangshan Mountain. The lake features fishing villages, islands, and the famous cycling route.
